European Day of Persons with Disabilities 2023

We are pleased to attend the “European Day of Persons with Disabilities 2023” at the European Commission.

This year is marked as the European Year of Skills, presenting an invaluable opportunity to support the inclusion of persons with disabilities in both the labour market and wider society.

The hashtagEDPD2023 offers us an insightful platform to deepen our understanding of the specific needs and opportunities of persons with disabilities. It is an occasion for us to learn and reflect on how we can more effectively guide them in enhancing their skills and achieving their professional aspirations.

Together, we are committed to fostering a skilled and inclusive workforce.

Case: jobseeker targeting administrative assistant roles

From fragmented information to action-ready job search materials.

Starting from a very incomplete CV, the jobseeker worked with a caseworker to describe previous experience, skills and job preferences. Missing information was gradually added during the conversation, including through voice dictation.
In seconds, AICCA transformed this fragmented information into structured job application materials and interview preparation for administrative assistant roles.

Coaching process

The process starts with an individual meeting with a job coach, covering the essential foundations of job searching: updating your CV, clarifying your short-term professional objective (realistic and accessible employment or training) with an action plan, completing your MyActiris profile, and identifying jobs and training aligned with your skills.

Once this stage is completed, you move into practice through analysing job offers, writing cover letters, preparing for job interviews, and receiving support in reviewing your applications. You also gain access to workshops and content on various topics, ranging from strengthening self-confidence to gaining a better understanding of AI.
