Effectiveness of Active Labour Market Policies in fragile socio-economic and (post-)conflict context

Today we were invited to reflect with peers from other 20 countries on how to better measure the “Effectiveness of Active Labour Market Policies in fragile socio-economic and (post-)conflict context”, a peer learning activity organised by the European Training Foundation (ETF) in partnership with Enabel, the Belgian development agency and the support of Actiris.

Thank you to the European Training Foundation, Enabel, and Actiris for this great opportunity. Together, we can ensure that our efforts have the expected impact on so many people’s lives!

Coaching process

The process starts with an individual meeting with a job coach, covering the essential foundations of job searching: updating your CV, clarifying your short-term professional objective (realistic and accessible employment or training) with an action plan, completing your MyActiris profile, and identifying jobs and training aligned with your skills.

Once this stage is completed, you move into practice through analysing job offers, writing cover letters, preparing for job interviews, and receiving support in reviewing your applications. You also gain access to workshops and content on various topics, ranging from strengthening self-confidence to gaining a better understanding of AI.
