Training Fair ‘Ik zoek. Ik vind mijn opleiding.’

On Tuesday 21st of May 2024, we participated in the Training Fair ‘Ik zoek. Ik vind mijn opleiding.’ at the Gare Maritime at Tour & Taxis. Thank you to Tracé Brussels and the Werkwinkels of Brussels for organising this event and for allowing job seekers to discover vocational training as a path to socio-professional integration!

Thank you to Actiris, VDAB, the Flemish Community Commission, and the Flemish Government for the collaboration and support, and to our job coaches for representing OrientaEuro.

Coaching process

The process starts with an individual meeting with a job coach, covering the essential foundations of job searching: updating your CV, clarifying your short-term professional objective (realistic and accessible employment or training) with an action plan, completing your MyActiris profile, and identifying jobs and training aligned with your skills.

Once this stage is completed, you move into practice through analysing job offers, writing cover letters, preparing for job interviews, and receiving support in reviewing your applications. You also gain access to workshops and content on various topics, ranging from strengthening self-confidence to gaining a better understanding of AI.

Case: student without CV, applying for internship
